Grounded Gratitude & Groovy Heart

STRENGTH

Why be grateful? I mean, think about it. If you go about your day without saying “thank you”, what would change?

Surprise! I have no idea.

I’m just grateful anyway.

COURAGE

What I DO know is that gratitude IS my preferred attitude.

Even, and especially, on “bad” days. Or, as I like to say, “on days that don’t go well”.

See, I believe in energy. Not only the kind coursing through cables and wires. The kind we cannot see or hear, but that we feel.

You know the kind. It’s the one you feel when you have a really good belly laugh. Or, find yourself in the company of a loved one, or favorite place.

It doesn’t require technology or latest trend. It only requires a dose of time well spent.

When running my business or just livin’ Life, sometimes I hit a wall. To scramble over that wall may take energy I don’t readily have.

WISDOM

So, I’ve learned to stop whatever I’m doing and reflect. Or, I’ll grab one of my (too) many notebooks or journals to find a reminder.

    A reminder that I’m human

And I am, right now, the best version of my humanity.

A reminder that I’ve hit walls before

And managed to scramble over or through them.

A reminder that I’ll hit a wall again

And that I’ll be grateful for whatever lesson(s) I’ll learn.

Then, before I know it, I’ll begin to feel some momentum. It may be a small burst. It may be a big burst.

But, like me, it’ll be enough.

To your success always,

Paula
